Cat lovers, you will be purring over these products that were at Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida last week. We are used to seeing small dogs in carriers and the majority of them looking like beautiful purses – but this cat back pack, stopped me in my tracks! The Catysmile Backpack Cat Carrier is purrfect for those that want to bring their cat with them on their adventures, or just a walk around the block. It is just too darn cute. Those eyes will draw you in, and let your cat see the world around you. Debuting at Global, they also won Best in Show, first place in the New Products Showcase awards, I am not surprised. With spring in the air, these adorable Flower Fountain by Catit drew me into their booth. This 3-in-1 cat drinking fountain has different options for the most picky drinker. And I love that it offers that stream of water from the flower – how many of you can relate to your cat purrfering to drink from the drip or stream from your kitchen sink? The flower can be removed for more of a regular bowl but with a constant gentle stream, the bud of the flower can also be removed to give the fountain more of a bubbling stream.
Drinking regularly is important for your cat’s health, as it helps ensure proper kidney function and prevents crystal formation that can lead to urinary diseases. I can see some cats just loving the stream and drinking and playing as they stay hydrated. It also has a compact and ergonomic design, continually filters the 3 liters of water it holds and is easy to clean.
Catit debuted a wide selection of new cat toys, designs and updated features of products. I really loved seeing this large play area for these sweet kittens (that were up for adoption, oh it was tempting!).
